Heal Thyself Archives

by Rex on January 9, 2012

We are progressively digitizing our collection of Heal Thyself Homeopathic magazines. These are available free to subscribers on a weekly basis. You can subscribe through the form at right. Each week you will receive a free copy of the magazine via email.

Heal Thyself copies imageHeal Thyself, also known as The Homeopathic World, began publishing in 1865 and continued until the 1960s. Our collection starts in the early 1940s. The first issues we are making available start from January 1943. Subsequent emails will continue the series sequentially.

At this time the great lay homeopath Ellis Barker was editor of the magazine. There are many articles by Barker in the magazines, along with other notable Homeopaths of the time, including Dorothy Shepherd, W. Karo, Herbert Roberts and many more.

The magazines contain many case histories, articles about specific remedies, educational material and fascinating information about this period of Homeopathic history.

For those who choose to subscribe, there will be other benefits. Weekly newsletters will include case histories, remedy descriptions and other extracts from our extensive homeopathic library. You will also receive advance notification of our formal Homeopathy Training Courses – now in preparation – plus preview material.

We look forward to providing subscribers with some useful educational material which is not generally available.

Mine too, Udaya. He is certainly one of the all time great lay homeopaths. You can discover the essence of homeopathic practice simply by reading his case histories.

Dear Sirs,

I got the book “The Magic of the Minimum Dose” and would like to suggest you to offer future e-books in greater letters. When I increase the size to that confortable to me, the text does not fit the screen, which is a big problem.

Best regards,
Ismar

Dear Rex,
I have tried to subscribe to Heal Thyself – does the offer still work?
And could one receive the issues sent out over the past years?
Thank you!
I am looking for Dorothy Shepherd’s “Harmony through homeopathy”,
Is it available already?
Thanks again!
Elena

Hi Elena,
I see your subscription has gone through and you should have received several copies of the magazine by now.
I don’t have Dorothy Shepherd’s “Harmony through Homeopathy”, and I don’t know if it is still available. A google search didn’t come up with anything, so I suspect it is out of print.
